This is a sequel to the Metro sequel, and appears to take us to the surface proper right now. The trailer showcases a few nosalis(that are looking particularly hairy), and a bright, new green environment full of ruined huts and finally a train that could totally pass for an AnsaldoBreda manufactured machine.
Assassin's Creed Origins
This is the newest entry to the popular Assassin's Creed franchise, which this time takes us all the way back to ancient Egypt, and the shows the very beginnings of the famous Assassin's Brotherhood. It showcases a series of new RPG elements, including the inventory system we're already familiar with, and a possession feature where you can use an eagle to spy on your target.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
This sequel to the hit adventure game, Ori and the Blind Forest, appears to build on existing features and strengths of the previous entry, and with an equally as beatiful and magical a soundtrack as the original.
Anthem has gotten a bit more information - it'll be a co-op game in the style of The Division, wherein players take the role of Freelancers; mercenaries that go beyond the safety of the walls, into the wilds, equipped with suits that resemble that of Iron Man. It's a visually stunning game, but will the gameplay hold up? Time will tell.
They also showed off the new Forza Motorsport 7, which will be landing on both Windows 10 and Xbox. It'll feature a brand new Porsche car, which EA put quite a bit of emphasis on the importance of.
Life is Strange - Before the Storm takes you to the hometown of Max Caulfield, showing you events that transpired in the life of her best friend Zoey, and before the proper game. It'll span three episodes, and is set to be released in August of this year.
Also on the screen was Sea of Thieves, a large scale multiplayer game focused around piracy of the seafaring kind. With its toony, colourful art style, you'd be excused for being reminded of the Fable franchise. Unlike the Fable franchise, Sea of Thieves seems to be very much alive and unburied, sailing the seven seas with all its golden booty.
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds will also be making touch-down on Xbox One later this year, though very little information about any exclusive features to the Xbox One version.
Finally, the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program will be expanding to include Xbox Original games, including the popular Crimson Skies game.
I can very much recommend watching the entirety of the conference, as the amount of trailers was quite simply overwhelming. A good job by Microsoft this year.
